BAG DiagnosticsBAG Diagnostics, in Lich, Germany, has made in-vitro diagnostics for transplantation and transfusion medicine since 1947. It works with both of the methods these labs rely on: molecular typing by PCR, and serology, where antibodies react with antigens on cells.
We supply BAG kits to transplant centres, HLA laboratories and blood banks in Pakistan, together with the DNA extraction, real-time PCR instruments and plastics to run them.

HLA typing by real-time PCR
HISTO TYPE Rainbow types 11 transplant-relevant HLA genes on one 96-well plate, with results in about 80 minutes.
HLA typing by SSO and SSP
HISTO SPOT SSO kits (4D and Xtend), automated on MR.SPOT, and HISTO TYPE SSP for confirmation and small batches.
HLA antibodies
HISTO SPOT HLA AB single-antigen detection and SeraScreen Abs lymphocytotoxicity trays, to find donor-specific antibodies.
HLA serology
